Example deployment: event security control from a single tablet

This is an example deployment scenario, written to show how RevoNet could be used. It is not a named customer and it does not report a specific customer's results.

Picture an event security contractor with agency staff spread across several zones. They hire radios, and they run a group chat for anything the radios miss. When something urgent happens, the message can get buried. Here is how RevoNet could help.

Setting up before doors open

The contractor would create groups named after the areas already used in the briefing: gate, pit, medical and supervisor. Staff would be paired the day before, when they collect kit, so there is no queue at the gate on the day. Hired radios could stay as backup, with RevoNet as the main way to talk.

Running the event

The control point supervisor would run the control room from a tablet. When something came in, they would set up a job, assign it to the nearest available team and speak on the supervisor group, rather than typing details into a chat.

Because the map shows where people were last seen, the supervisor could send the closest team straight away.

What could change on cost

A contractor running events of different sizes can ask RevoNet to quote for the radios and services required across their programme. RevoNet Complete has a 12-month minimum term; quantities and any other service arrangements would be agreed before deployment.

What to plan for

Agency staff may not have used the system before, so a short briefing on the day helps. Having a spare charged device or two on hand also keeps things running smoothly if someone forgets theirs.

Naming groups after the places staff already know, pairing the day before, and keeping the supervisor on the same screen as the map.

Applying it to later events

Once the groups are set up, the same structure can be reused for the next event with a few edits to the names. Each event gets easier to set up than the last.
