Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Zopware Ltd ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit revonet.co.uk, contact us, or use the RevoNet platform at app.revonet.co.uk.

We are the data controller for personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

1. Data we collect

Marketing website

When you visit revonet.co.uk we may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. Our hosting and CDN providers process connection data to deliver the site.

When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, optional organisation name, and message.

RevoNet platform

When you register or use the app we collect account details (name, email, organisation), authentication data, operational content you create (talkgroups, incidents, messages, GPS positions), device identifiers for paired hardware, and audit log entries related to your tenant.

We do not intentionally collect special category data. Do not submit it through the Services unless your organisation has a lawful basis to do so.

2. How we use data

We use personal data to:

  • Provide and secure the Services
  • Respond to contact enquiries
  • Bill and administer accounts
  • Send service notices (for example security or billing updates)
  • Improve reliability and fix faults
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal data.

3. Lawful bases (UK GDPR)

Depending on context we rely on:

  • Contract to provide the Services you signed up for
  • Legitimate interests to operate, secure, and improve the Services, and to respond to enquiries
  • Consent where required (for example non-essential cookies if we add them)
  • Legal obligation where the law requires us to retain or disclose data

4. Sharing and processors

We use infrastructure and email providers to run the Services (for example hosting, SMTP delivery, Cloudflare Turnstile on forms). They process data on our instructions under appropriate agreements.

We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Tenant operational data is not shared with other customers. Support access is limited to what is needed to resolve tickets you raise.

5. International transfers

Data is primarily processed in the UK/EEA. If a sub-processor transfers data outside the UK we ensure appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or adequacy regulations.

6. Retention

Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry unless a longer period is required for legal or business records.

Account and operational data is retained while your tenant is active. After closure we delete or anonymise data within a reasonable period unless law requires longer retention.

Server logs are rotated on a short schedule.

7. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data, including access controls, tenant isolation, encryption in transit, and monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, and data portability where applicable. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

To exercise rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity.

9. Cookies

See our Cookie Policy for details of cookies on the marketing site. The RevoNet app uses session cookies and similar technologies necessary for login and security.

10. Children

The Services are not directed at children under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top will change. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page or notified to account holders where appropriate.
